The Management Plan of “The Ancient City of Nessebar” was developed by the National Institute of Immovable Cultural Heritage (NIICH) in 2011.

The Management Plan was commissioned by the Municipality of Nessebar. It was designed for the Ancient City of Nessebar.

The Ancient City of Nessebar was nominated for World Heritage in 1982 and inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 1983 as “The Ancient City of Nessebar”.
