The scientific research “Identification of a cultural route in the historic town: “Traditional directions of Christian faith and cults in the Ancient City of Nessebar” is developed as a pilot product of the Management Plan of “The Ancient City of Nessebar”. It directly corresponds with the strategic goal of the Management Plan for conservation of the outstanding universal value of the World Heritage Site in relation with the study of the various contemporary aspects of the cultural heritage in Nessebar and is the first identification of this kind of cultural heritage in Bulgaria according to the Cultural Heritage Act. The author of the study is arch. Donika Georgieva.
